PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position sensing device for a piston rod of a drive jack capable of externally viewing the position sensing condition of the piston rod. SOLUTION: A position sensing device for a piston rod 20 of a drive jack 17 has a cylinder 18, piston, and piston rod 20 and operates hydraulically, wherein a sensor chip 32 is installed on either of the cylinder 18 and piston rod 20 while proximity sensors 33 and 34 are installed on the other at a certain spacing from each other, and it is made visible externally the position sensing condition of the piston rod 20 by the sensor chip 32 and proximity sensors 33 and 34. |
