PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel concrete placement method for forming a slab to manually and correctly finish the slab surface flatly, and a support tool for guide rail of a novel structure which is used therefor. SOLUTION: In this concrete placement method for forming a slab, guide rails 8, 8 are stretch between two points parallel to each other among four points to form one imaginary lattice section at the height corresponding to the thickness of the concrete to be placed, and horizontally adjusted, and then, a ready-mixed concrete 92 is placed, a leveling trowel 93 is allowed to slide while both ends of which are stretched over the guide rails, 8, 8 to level the ready-mixed concrete 92, the surface of the placed concrete is executed to a finished surface following a pair of guide rails 8, 8, similar operations are successively repeated for each of remaining imaginary lattice sections, and the guide rails 8, 8 are removed for each operation to form a concrete slab of the specified thickness horizontally continuous over a whole deck plate 9 which is a reference surface for concrete placement.
