PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide young wheat leaves, powder of young wheat leaves and powder of young wheat leaf squeeze includingγ-aminobutyric acid that has the vasodepressor activity in high concentration. SOLUTION: Young wheat leaves are anaerobically treated and/or heat- treated at 20-50 deg.C. Further, the treated leaves are dried to give the objective powder of young wheat leaves or powder of young wheat leaf squeeze including a high content ofγ-aminobutyric acid.
