PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device, capable of realizing significant miniaturization and cost reduction by reducing the number of voltage monitor circuits connected in parallel with the respective capacitors, while a current supplied to plural capacitors constituting a capacitor bank is reduced. SOLUTION: This charging device consists of a capacitor bank 20, constituted of a plurality of capacitors C1-C4, a power source circuit 10 which supplies a prescribed charging current 1A and charges the capacitor bank 20, and a voltage monitor circuit 30 detecting and monitoring the voltage charged in the capacitor bank 20. At charging, the capacitors C1-C4 are connected in series, and the charging current 1A is supplied. At voltage monitoring operation, supplying to the charging current 1A is turned off, and the capacitors C1-C4 are connected in parallel. |
