DRIVING CONTROL METHOD FOR TIMER AND TIMER INSTALLING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of timers to be installed. SOLUTION: A flag F expressing whether a counter register T of the timer is used or not is provided respectively corresponding to the respective counter registers T. When the measurement of time is requested, on the basis of the said flag F, a stopped timer retrieving part 3 retrieves the counter register T under stopping. A timer allocation driving part 4 allocates the counter register T under stopping detected by the retrieval of the stopped timer retrieving part 3 as a timer for processing the said measurement of time and the target count time of the said time measuring processing is registered in the counter register T. An ID issuing part 5 issues an ID peculiar to the said time measuring processing for the said selected counter register T. A device operation control part 2 monitors the driving condition of the counter register T on the basis of the ID.
