<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and recover almost whole of platinum group metals included in a catalytic soln. (such as a used catalytic soln. discharged in a catalyzing stage of electrolesss plating treatment) without being recovered practically heretofore, particularly palladium from the soln. by a simple means. SOLUTION: In this method for recovering platinum group metals by electrolytic reduction from a soln. contg. platinum group metals or the compds. thereof in a colloidal state, an electrolysis pretreating agent is added into a catalytic soln. to dissolve the colloidal particles, thus the platinum group metals are made into the ionized state. Then the soln. is subjected to electrolytic reduction, thus the platinum group metals are precipitated and recovered. By the method, almost the whole quantity of the platinum group metals included in the platinum group-contg. soln. can easily be recovered.</p> |
