FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION, ITS USE AND ITS MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant styrene resin composition exhibiting high flame-retardancy without using a halogen-containing organic compound and having excellent mechanical properties and heat-resistance and provide its production process and molded article. SOLUTION: The objective flame retardant resin composition is produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition composed of (A) 20-98 pts.wt. of a styrene resin, (B) 1-40 pts.wt. of a styrene resin modified with a vinyl monomer containing epoxy group and (C) 1-40 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin with (D) 1-30 pts.wt. of a phenolic resin and (E) 1-10 pts.wt. of red phosphorus.
