PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a roller cutter in which the good attachment accuracy and adhesion strength of a wheel are ensured, by supporting flanges disposed on two divided rotation shafts with both the side surfaces of the wheel to integrate the wheel with the flanges, and supporting the ends of both the rotation shafts. SOLUTION: This roller cutter comprises a wheel 3 and a holder 4. Flanges are disposed on both divided shafts 1 and 2. Both the side surfaces of the wheel 3 are nipped with the shafts 1 and 2. The ends of both the shafts 1 and 2 are pressed with shaft supports 5 and 5 attached to the holder 4 toward the center of the wheel 3, and the wheel 3 and both the shafts 1 and 2 are supported rotatably on the rotation axis. The ends of both the shafts 1 and 2 are pressed, for example, by a method comprising forming the holder 4 in an arch-like shape and utilizing the elastic deformations of both the end portions of the arch to press the shaft supports 5 and 5 attached to both the end portions of the arch toward the center of the wheel 3. Thereby, the inclination of the wheel 3 and both the shafts 1 and 2 can be reduced, and highly accurate scribing works can be carried out.
