PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning apparatus, having a wide range for sucking air to clean and treat the same and providing superior sense of use. SOLUTION: This air cleaning machine 2 comprises a filter 5, a blower 4, and a base structure box body 1 housing the filter 5 and the blower 4 and including a ventilation passageway 3 and cleaning sucked surrounding air to blow out the same, where an air inlet 6 for sucking the surrounding air opens upward in the ceiling face of the box body 1, and a step air-sucking part 15 having plural main air inlets 14 with different heights surrounding the outer circumferences of the air inlets 6 on the ceiling face of the box body 1 and opening approximately upward on a position higher than the air inlet 6 is provided. |
