PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photothermal conversion material capable of effectively carrying out the photothermal conversion and utilizing antimicrobial, catalytic and exothermic actions thereof and to provide a simple original plate for heat mode type lithographic printing without requiring a developing treatment utilizing the photothermal conversion material. SOLUTION: This metal compound particle has a hydrophilic surface supporting metal finely divided pieces, especially those formed by electroless reduction of a metal salt on the surface thereof. The original plate for heat mode type photosensitive printing comprises the metal compound particle supporting the metal finely divided pieces on the surface thereof. The particle has antimicrobial, catalytic and photothermal conversion actions and can be expected of even uses thereof utilizing the respective actions. |
