PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of the screwing part of an adjusting screw and a screw hole while preventing increase of weight. SOLUTION: A rocker arm body 15 is formed by pressing one metallic plate. A nut plate 18 is put upon a connecting part 16b provided to the rocker arm body 15, and fixed thereon by welding or brazing. After welding or brazing, a screw hole 9a is formed through these connecting part 16b and nut plate 18. Force applied to the nut plate 18 through an adjusting screw 10 acts on a direction that the nut plate 18 is pushed to the connecting part 16b. Therefore, large force may not be applied to a welded or brazed part 20.
