PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the length of a feeder cable. SOLUTION: A running rail 2 is laid on each side wall of the ceiling of a building 1. A number of power sockets 11 are installed on the inner wall surface of building 1 where one of the rails 2 is laid at a certain spacing in the direction of the rail 2. The ends of a crane girder 4 are laid on the rail 2 so that it can run. Power outlet inserting/drawoff devices 12a and 12b installed at the front and the rear of one end of the crane girder 4 are equipped with slide beams 14a and 14b provided at the front and the rear of the crane girder 4 protrusively to ahead and backward, moving bodies 15a and 15b attached to the slide beams 14a and 14b movably in the direction fore and aft, and power outlets 13a and 13b arranged movably to the left and right along slide rails provided on the moving bodies 15a and 15b. A feeder cable 21 is connected to the power outlets 13a and 13b, and the power is supplied to the overhead crane by connecting either of the outlets 13a and 13b at all times to power sockets 11.
