PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody downsizing, cost reduction and silence by making the water feed performance of a controller for a washing means for driving a washing motor and a pump motor with an inverter circuit constant regardless of the frequency of an AC power source and sharing the inverter circuit for driving the pump motor and its control means with the inverter circuit for driving the washing motor and its control means. SOLUTION: The DC electric power of a current rectifier circuit 3 connected to the AC power source is converted to the AC electric power by the inverter circuit 4. The washing motor 5 for driving agitating vanes or a washing tank is driven by the inverter circuit 4. The opening and closing of a water feed valve 6 and drain valve 7 are controlled by a switching means 9. The energization to the pump motor 10 to feed the water to the washing tank is changed over by a load changeover means 11 for changing over the output of the inverter circuit 4 so that the inverter circuit 4 is controlled by a control means 12 to drive the pump motor 10.
