PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall socket with good appearance and to make it possible to effectively utilize the space around a wall socket by mounting the socket on the surface of a member that is provided generally vertically to a floor and by installing the socket with its plug holes facing down. SOLUTION: In this structure 1 for mounting a wall socket, the wall socket 4 is mounted on the surface of a member that is provided generally vertically to a floor 2. The wall socket 4 includes an AC cable and a socket box in which connectors are incorporated and the socket 4 is provided with its plug holes 5 facing down. A plug 5 is inserted into the plug holes 5. The plug 6 and a cord 7 connected to this plug 6 do not become obstacles because the plug holes 5 are provided in such a way as to face down. This structure makes it possible to effectively utilize the space around the wall socket 4. Furthermore, a projected part is formed by providing the socket 4, and portions including the top surface part 4a and side part 4b that can be viewed from the outside can be decorated so that cosmetic function can be added to the socket 4. |
