PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily disable word lines by discharging the potential of a 1st and a 2nd word lines to the ground potential by a conversion signal of a word line boosting signal, and equalizing the 1st and 2nd word lines by using the word line boosting signal. SOLUTION: When a 1st word line WL01 and a 2nd word line WK10 are disabled, the 1st and 2nd word lines differ in the disabled time, respectively, because NMOS transistors composing a 1st- and a 2nd sub-word line driving and clearing circuit parts 10, 20 differ in size. For this reason, when a signal to disable the 1st word line WL01 or the 2nd word line WL10 is inputted, the disabling time is decreased by equalizing both word lines with each other. Therefore, the ground potential of one of the word lines disabled more quickly, is transmitted to the other word line to be operated later. |
