PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for removing foreign particles in a rolling oil emulsion and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: In a method for removing foreign particles, a liquid 7 in which foreign particles are dispersed is sprayed to the periphery of a rotary drum 2, the particles in the liquid 7 are adhered as scum 8 to the collision surface of the drum 2, the drum 2 is rotated at a speed of about one revolution per hour, and the scum 8 is peeled off by a doctor knife 3. Liquid 11 is received by an oil receiver 5 to be recovered. |
