PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of polypropylene filament which is characterized by being possible to produce long fiber for non-woven fabric having softness and excellent strength as well as having fine fineness by a three-stage cooling and solidifying method. CONSTITUTION: The polypropylene filament is obtained by melt-spinning polypropylene resin, cooling-solidifying and drawing. The three-stage cooling and solidifying method is comprised of: the first-stage cooling and solidifying zone having 5-12deg.C of cooling air temperature and 0.5-1m/s of cooling rate; the second-stage cooling and solidifying zone having 12-16deg.C of cooling air temperature and 1.0-1.5m/s of cooling rate; and the third-stage cooling and solidifying zone having 17-20deg.C of cooling air temperature and 0.1-0.5m/s of cooling rate.
