PURPOSE: A multi key input device for a communication and a method thereof are provided to quickly and easily write an accurate content when inputting a key by being connected to a mobile communication terminal when using internet and supporting a key input and information identification or an information search. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit(10) supplies a driving power to a system. A connection unit(20) is connected to a mobile communication terminal into which a communication program is inserted for using internet. A keyboard(30) is operated for an information write and a transmission and receipt when the driving power is supplied by the power supply unit(10). A microcomputer(40) receives information inputted through the keyboard(30) and executes an entire control operation for writing a message or performing a specific function. A clock signal generating unit(50) generates a periodical clock signal as an operation time reference signal of the microcomputer(40) and outputs the generated clock signal to the microcomputer(40). A ROM(61) and a RAM(62) store necessary information according to the control of the microcomputer(40). An LCD(70) displays transmitted and received information according to a control of the microcomputer(40). A supporting unit supports the mobile communication terminal so that the mobile communication terminal can fixed to the connection unit(20).
