PURPOSE: A method for changing a text area of a shared library is provided to maintain a data area and to change only a corresponding text area in a corresponding memory, when the text area of the shared library is changed due to an addition of procedure or error correction on program, so as to perform the change without service suspension. CONSTITUTION: An MMC(Man Machine Communication) terminal(51) delivers an inputted text change command of a shared library to an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor,52)(S1). A window management and command analysis(MC,52-1) of the OMP(52) analyzes the text change command, and delivers the analyzed text change command to an execution control(52-2)(S2). The execution control(52-2) transmits corresponding information to a main processor(53) designated by the analyzed information from the main processor(52-1)(S3). A processor loader(53-1) inside the main processor(53) requests text loading of the shared library to a system loader(52-3) of the OMP(52)(S4). The shared library to a system loader(52-3) opens a new shared library text in a disk according to the loading request, and transmits the new shared library text to the processor loader(53-1) of the main processor(53) through inter processor communication(S5). The processor loader(53-1) of the main processor(53) accumulates the new shared library text supplied from the system loader(52-3) of the OMP(52) in a main memory(53-2)(S6). The processor loader(53-1) calls a specific operating system primitive, to suspend the operation of a corresponding shared library block and frees a text area of the existing shared library. And the processor loader(53-1) corrects an MMU(Memory Management Unit) table of the shared library to substitute the new shared library text for the existing shared library text(S7).
