PURPOSE: A container for packing eggs is provided to prevent eggs received in egg-laying plates packed in egg packing containers stacked at a lower part from being broken due to the load of egg packing containers stacked at an upper part, thereby conveniently and safely conveying the containers. CONSTITUTION: A container for packing eggs includes a bottom surface part(100) formed with lower foldable parts(110a,110b), two pairs of side walls(200,300) formed by folding the lower foldable parts, and a cover part(220) extended from either one pair of the side walls. A base wing(230) is extended from the center of the end of the cover part and foldable to contact protrusions(20) of an egg-laying plate(10), semicircular insertion wings(250) are formed at both right and left ends of the cover part to be inserted in insertion grooves(340) formed in the center of foldable parts(310) of a cover supporting wing(320) formed at the upper end of the other pair of side walls, and the semicircular insertion wings have an outer part foldable integrally with the right and left ends of the cover part and an inner part cut to be inserted in the insertion groove.
