PURPOSE: The method for forming a virtual family graveyard using a character is provided to make the graveyard at the worldwide place of scenic beauty and a propitious site for a grave using the character on an internet home page, and to manage the graveyard using the same, thereby enabling the pedigree and records of the dead to be seen at any time and place. CONSTITUTION: The internet home page is prepared and managed by the character. The data related to the worldwide places of the scenic beauty and propitious sites for the grave are stored in a database. With the character selected by a user, the graveyard is formed at the selected background of the data in the database. The environment around the graveyard can be changed to be suitable for a current season. The achievements and will of the dead at the graveyard are recorded on the home page and thereby read by descendants. The pedigree of the dead is also recorded on the home page. The contact points of relatives are written on the home page. The relatives may read the record on the note for the call of condolence after visiting the home page.
