PURPOSE: An application service system and its method through remote control of application service are provided to prevent copy-protection of an application, and to increase the number of a formal user by enabling a general user to use the application by means of a small amount of money, and to produce software goods which have never been made by a unit package before by renting the application. CONSTITUTION: A software development company inserts a lock library to a general application to a normal execution routine for an interlock with a middleware. In case that there is no library, the library is damaged or a lock code in the library isn't be opened, the application is made to be unexecutable. A general user connects to an internet site which provides a rental application. The user receives the rental application and applies the rental application through all sorts of media. The user receives the middleware program, "GORI" and installs the rental application. The first key code written in cipher is automatically compared with an inner value of the lock library. In case that the value is "true", the first key code have a state of "execution control lock device opened" for the application execution. A rental application execution routine reads the lock library. In case that the lock library have the sate of the "execution control lock device opened", the rental application is normally executed. In case that the library have a state of "execution control lock device closed", the execution is rejected. A code certification processing server gets permission to provide a code. The server registers a record on a client's use to a database as a log file and is endowed with the second key code from the middleware("GORI") just before 10 seconds after the registration. The rental application continues to be used. In case that the general user terminates the rental application, the middleware is separated from the first key code in the lock library. The rental application is terminated.
