PURPOSE: A method of processing data reproduction is provided to reproduce data in order of a data reproduction command requested from computers connected through an SCSI(Small Computer System Interface) bus, to transmit the reproduced data to the computers, so that many users use one optical disk reproduction device. CONSTITUTION: A micro computer checks which PC transmits a data reproduction command among many PCs connected through an SCSI bus(80). If the command is received, the micro computer decides whether data is reproduced(82). If so, the micro computer stores the received data reproduction command in a memory(84). If the reproduction process is completed(86), the micro computer selects an optical pickup unit neighboring to a target track corresponding to the data reproduction command(88). The micro computer performs a tracking servo control for the selected optical pickup unit(90). The micro computer reproduces the data to transmit the data to the PC(92).
