PURPOSE: A telephone number input method is provided to inform a user of originating candidate phone numbers, based on cumulated phone number information, by applying a fuzzy theory so that the user can use a phone number exactly for calling. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects a fuzzy call numbering displayed on a display unit after inputting a telephone number all(S1,S2), a control unit matches the input number with an outgoing call log, a telephone directory and an incoming call log and extracts a candidate list(S3). The control unit makes a final candidate list by arraying the telephone numbers of the candidate list in the order of a small quantity of wrong numbers and arraying the arrayed wrong numbers in the order of the highest consistent probability on a fuzzy matrix(S4-S6). The control unit confirms whether a telephone number of the final candidate list is selected(S7). If not a telephone number of the final candidate list but the input number is selected, the control unit sends the input phone number(S10). In case that a telephone number of the final candidate list is selected, the control unit sends the selected phone number(S8). The control unit records the error probability value of a number, which belongs to the input phone number, on the fuzzy matrix and updates the fuzzy matrix(S9).
