METHOD FOR GENERATING/RECORDING TRANSMISSION TIME OF RECORDING DATA IN DISK RECORDING MEDIUM OF HIGH DENSITY AND TRANSMITTING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for generating/recording a transmission time of recording data and its transmitting method are provided to process a received transport packet from a digital television by separating and decoding to an audio and a video and to prevent an unnecessary reduction of the recording efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A reference transmission timestamp is inserted in an optional data transport packet and recorded in a disk recording medium of high density. A recorded position of the specific transport packet having the timestamp is checked among the recorded transport packets. Information about the recorded position is recorded on header information of a recording unit. The recording unit comprises the transport packets. The transmission management timestamp to manage a program clock reference is generated and recorded by suiting for the recording efficiency and the recording characteristic of the disk recording medium. In a playback, the data transmission packet is transmitted to a digital television by suiting for the program clock reference according to the transmission management timestamp.
