DEVICE FOR GENERATING MULTI-LEVEL SYNCHRONIZING SIGNAL AND SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING TELEVISION SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A device for generating multi-level synchronizing signal and a system for receiving television signal are provided to generate multi-level synchronizing signal to fit format of output video signal. CONSTITUTION: A format converter(20) samples decoded video data as clock frequency oscillated according to mode selecting signal. Therefore, the format converter(20) generates color signal data and synchronizing signal having high resolution or low resolution video format and outputs the color signal data and the synchronizing signal. A control signal generator(100) generates control signals and synchronizing signal of composite image signal based on the horizontal synchronizing signal output from the format converter(20). The control signals and the synchronizing signal of composite image signal have many pulses which are activated having n times length of the horizontal synchronizing signal at previous and next points. A three-level buffer(110) generates three-level synchronizing signal by combining the control signals within section of the horizontal synchronizing signal. A third switching part(120) outputs one from composite synchronizing signal and the three-level synchronizing signal selectively according to input of switching control signal. A system controlling part generates the mode selecting signal and the switching control signal, and outputs the mode selecting signal and the switching control signal.
