PURPOSE: Provided are a stretching structure and a manufacturing method thereof which prevents excessive elongation and damage of the stretching structure by strengthened elastic property. CONSTITUTION: The stretching structure is comprised of: the first and the second main body(1)(3) comprised of string or a tube, provided at least one to each the main body, twisted on crossing which has elastic property by elastic force maintaining twisted shape; and the first stretching member(5) connecting crossed part of the first main body(1) and the second main body(3) and having proper elasticity for strengthening elastic property. The stretching structure is obtained by a process containing the steps of: forming the first and the second main body with the string or the tube, followed by twisting the first and the second main body on crossing on spiral; soaking the first and the second main body in vacuole generated in a vacuole generator, followed by coating the vacuole to the crossed part of the first and the second main body; and then taking out the first and the second main body from the inside of the vacuole generator, followed by drying and connecting the crossed part of the first and the second main body.
