PURPOSE:To provide an interconnector whose thermal expansion behavior has no difference whether in an oxidation atmosphere or in a reduction atmosphere and matches that of yttria-complete-stabilized zirconia so that no stress is generated by forming the interconnector from excess-Cr, Sr-doped LaCrO3 in which the amount of doping of Sr is specified. CONSTITUTION:A connector is made from excess-Cr, Sr-doped LaCrO3 wherein the amount of doping of Sr is in the range 11.5-13.5%. When the amount of doping of Sr is 11.5% or higher the phase transition point of the material is at or below room temperature even in a reduction atmosphere. When the amount of doping is 13.5% or lower there is no significant increase in coefficient of thermal expansion that may result from oxygen deficiency in a reduction atmosphere at high temperature. Therefore, no stress is generated and the connector can endure long-term, repeated operation. |
