PURPOSE:To shorten a first printing time and to improve image quality by applying an environment detecting transfer bias to a transfer means and controlling the recording conditions of an image recorder basing on the output value in this time. CONSTITUTION:When a printing signal 200 is inputted into the image recorder, the transfer constant-current bias 205 of a transfer roller is turned on. The AC bias 201 and DC bias 202 of an electrifying roller are turned on at timing that the surface of a photosensitive body after the transfer roller is rotated once is started to be electrified by the electrifying roller. The ON-timing of a picture signal 203 is when the electrified part of the photosensitive body electrified by the electrifying roller reaches a laser exposing part. The transfer constant-current bias 205 of the transfer roller is turned off in exact timing that the photosensitive body part having an image exposure reaches a transfer part and simultaneously, a transfer constant-voltage signal 206 as a toner image transfer voltage is turned on. |
