METHOD FOR DISPLAYING BATTERY RESIDUAL CAPACITY OF MOBILE PHONE

PURPOSE: A method for displaying the battery residual capacity of a mobile phone is provided to exactly display battery residual capacity in a busy line state of a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: If a battery residual capacity checking period comes(201), a control unit reads battery residual capacity from an A/D conversion part and stores it in a specific domain of a memory(202). The control unit checks whether the mobile phone is in a busy line state(203). In case that the mobile phone is in the busy line state, the control unit reads a compensation value from a memory(205). The control unit reads an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) from an RF processing part(206) and a battery current consumption compensation value for the present RSSI value from the memory(207). The control unit reads the present Tx voice rate information from a voice signal processing part(208). The control unit reads the current consumption compensation value corresponding to the Tx voice rate from the memory(209). The control unit adds all or some of the battery residual capacity value from the A/D conversion part, the compensation value in the busy line and the compensation value for the present RSSI value and the current consumption compensation value corresponding to the Tx voice rate and yields a battery residual capacity value(210). The control unit displays the calculated battery residual capacity value on a display part(210).
