PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting a target is provided to increase the interest of exercise, to stabilize a specific distance, and to help a golfer to learn an accurate swing pose. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for detecting target provides a praise inspiring a golfer with vital power to more interestingly exercise a golf game, and to accurately train swing poses. The apparatus is used in a golf practice ranger. When a golf ball hits a target and a semi-target, the praise such as "congratulations on your hole in one" or "congratulations on your birdie chance" is spoke via a reproducing device(40). The praise is recorded in a recording device(30) having many switches. Therefore, the golfer is cheered by the praise, and is immersed in the golf game for continuously hearing the praise. Additionally, the swing pose of the golfer is stabilized and a specific distance is constantly hold for being absorbed in the golf exercise.
