PURPOSE: A motor and generator using a film core and a film coil are provided to prevent the cogging generated by a slot by applying a film core and a film coil to a rotor and a stator of a motor or a generator, and thereby eliminating a slot. CONSTITUTION: A film core(21), a film coil(22), a permanent magnet(23), and a housing(24) are concentrically disposed about a rotary shaft(20). The film core(21) has a film shape. The film core(21) is wound on the rotary shaft(20). The film coil(22) having a film shape is wound on the outer side of the film core. The rotor is disposed in a cylinder to which a permanent magnet is fixed. If the exterior power is transferred to the coil of the rotor, the rotor is rotated in the permanent magnet. A motor uses the rotational force.
