PURPOSE: Intake noise reducing structure of a linear compressor is provided to prevent refrigerant gas filled in a casing from being leaked out to an inner space of a cover while performing intake stroke. CONSTITUTION: A first intake muffler(100) is installed in a refrigerant passage of a piston. A second intake muffler(200) is combined to an inner surface of a refrigerant container aperture(2a) of a cover(2) covering intake side of the refrigerant passage. Herein, a small diameter portion(210) of the second intake muffler is inserted to a large diameter portion(120) of the first intake muffler. Therefore, intake noise of the piston is reduced while passing through first and second intake mufflers. Herein, volumes of the large diameter portions are differed while differing volumes of the intake mufflers. Thus, noise of different frequencies is reduced.
