PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to increase light emission efficiency, reduce after-glow time and control color coordinates, thereby considerably improving the characteristic of the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel(10) includes a front unit and a back unit. The front unit has a discharge electrode formed on a transparent front substrate(12) and a dielectric layer(18) burying the discharge electrode. The back unit has an address electrode(24) formed on a back substrate(14), perpendicular to the discharge electrode, partition walls(28), formed above the address electrode having a predetermined interval, each of which defines a discharge space, and the first fluorescent layer(30) formed between the partition walls. The front unit includes the second fluorescent layer(20). The second fluorescent layer has a fluorescent grain size of less than 380nm and has a thickness of less than one micrometer. |
