PURPOSE: An expansion tank in a heat pump is provided to connect the expansion tank to a cooling water line and a cold water line. CONSTITUTION: An expansion tank comprises a cooling water tank(101); a cold water tank(102); a buffering member(103) installed between the tanks; a cooling water line connect pipe(104) connected to a lower end of the cooling water tank; and a cold water line connect pipe(105) connected to a lower end of the cold water tank. The buffering member is formed by a material having a specific thickness while changing volume, such as sponge. Therefore, the buffering member is installed between the water tanks for blocking contents of the tanks from each other while preventing leakage from the tanks.
