PURPOSE: A three degree of freedom actuator is provided to perform a function of a stopper, to enable high speed rotation and selective position control, and to enlarge a working range. CONSTITUTION: A three degree of freedom actuator comprises: a rotor(20) having a permanent magnet(25) for the action of attraction or a repulsive force with a stator; a stator having an electromagnet(27); a supporter for supporting the electromagnet; and a controller including a matching body for perpendicularly arranging the stator and the supporter and composing as a mechanical unit. Herein, miniaturization, weight reduction, and simplification are possible while the advantages of a general three degree of freedom actuator are preserved. The simplification of components in a multi degree of freedom system is possible, and the reliability of a position and rotation control is improved.
