COOLING DEVICE OF LINEAR MOTOR

PURPOSE: A cooling device of a linear motor is provided to reduce the noise and the air consumption by selectively supplying the air introduced through a penetrating hole through an air valve. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor(23) is mounted to an operator to detect the heat generated in a coil block(22). A penetrating hole(14) is formed in a stator(10) to introduce the air. An air valve is inserted into the penetrating hole to open and close the supplying of the air for cooling the coil block(22). A temperature controlling device receives the temperature detecting signal from the temperature sensor(23). The temperature controlling device selectively opens and closes the air valve. An L-shaped penetrating hole is formed on both side surfaces to introduce the air for cooling the coil block(22).
