SCREW TYPE FERRITE CORE FOR ADJUSTING COIL INDUCTANCE

PURPOSE: A screw type ferrite core for adjusting coil inductance is provided to protect from damage by reinforcing the mechanical strength of a low hardness ferrite core. CONSTITUTION: The ferrite core for changing the inductance is arranged to move with respect to the coil by the rotary operation. A screw type ferrite core has an adjusting hole(22) on the center with a square, rectangular, or hexagonal shape in the axis direction. The outer surface of the ferrite core is flat and has a position selection groove(24). The ferrite core is coated by reinforcing cap(40) having the screw form on its outer surface. The reinforcing cap provides the mechanical strength even if the ferrite core is made from the low hardness ferrite core.
