PURPOSE: A brake pedal supporting structure eliminates an impact acted on the lower body of a driver by a pedal arm by preventing the push of the pedal arm into a vehicle room on a collision accident. CONSTITUTION: A pedal arm push preventing device(30) facing some section of a pedal arm(18) having a hinge point(22a) is mounted on the rear portion of the pedal arm(18). The pedal arm push preventing device(30) has a push preventing portion(32) and a fixedly mounting portion(34). The fixedly mounting portion(34) mounted on the rear surface of the push preventing portion(32) strongly fixes the push preventing portion(32) on a vehicle body. |
