PURPOSE: A vehicle door lock device is provided to prevent an inner handle rod from being separated from a holder or being bent when assembling an inner trim of an inner handle, thereby preventing faulty operation. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle door lock device includes a door latch assembly engaged with a striker of a vehicle for limiting the movement of a door(10), an inner handle(12) mounted on a through hole of a door trim(10b) and operated to open the door in the inside by a passenger, an inner handle rod(14) for transmitting operational force of the inner handle to the door latch assembly, and a holder(16) for supporting the inner handle rod to be maintained at a predetermined gap with a door inside panel(10a), wherein the inner handle rod is formed with a first rod member(14a) having one side connected with the door latch assembly, and middle one side supported by the holder; and a second rod member(14b) having one side connected with the inner handle, and the other side rotatably connected with the first rod member by a hinge centering on a vertical shaft. |
