PURPOSE: Provided is a process for preparing a functional paper product by coating Korean paper with a suitable amount of a photocatalyst and mixing loess, germanium, elvan, ceramic or the like, thereby the paper product cleans an air, radiates far infrared radiation, and prevents environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The process for manufacturing a functional paper product comprises the steps of: mixing a pulp mixture comprising 100 to 20wt.% of paper mulberry pulp and 0 to 80wt.% of one or more natural pulps by using the Fortlinear paper machine; mixing natural pulp comprising 0 to 100wt.% of manila pulp and 100 to 9wt.% of craft pulp by using a cylinder paper machine; combining the obtained paper; and coating an adhesive on the uncombined surface of natural pulp of the multi-coated paper, wherein a photocatalyst sintered at 400 to 500deg.C is coated on the surface of the multi-coated paper and an inorganic matter is coated on the photocatalyst.
