FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of materials processing by cutting, cutting tool with mechanical fixation of cutting plates, for instance, cutters or milling tools. Cutting plate has axis of symmetry, lower and side support surfaces, and is limited by upper and lower surfaces of symmetrical shape, through which mentioned axis of symmetry passes, and by side surface located between upper and lower surfaces. At that protrusions are located on lower surface, being evenly installed around axis of symmetry. The front surface is located on upper surface, and side support surfaces are located on side surface of protrusions. Lower support surface consists of sections located on mentioned protrusions parallel to upper surface, and side support surfaces are arranged in the form of truncated conical surfaces with large bases on the side of lower surface. Assembled cutting tool comprises body with at least one seat, where cutting plate is installed and fixed. At that side support surface of protrusion under working top of cutting edge or working section of its cutting edge of cutting plate interacts with side support wall of seat or side support surface of support plate. ^ EFFECT: higher strength of cutting plate and assembled cutting tool due to fitting of support surfaces to working top of cutting plate or working section of its cutting edge. ^ 6 cl, 13 dwg |
