PURPOSE: A water turbine with high efficiency is provided to extract the super low head of water power in an overflow shape. CONSTITUTION: A water turbine(1) with high efficiency comprises two discs(2), many blades(3) and a rotating shaft(4). The blades are in an airfoil shape. When water passes through discs, the water turbine is rotated by the dynamic lift of the blades and rotated in one direction even though water direction is changed in a symmetrical shape with the rotating shaft. In case of shallow water, the diameter of the disc is increased and the length of the blade is reduced for high water power. In case of deep water, many water turbines are coupled in a line according to needed power. Thus, the water turbine is efficiently used in a river with no head or little head without air pollution. |
