PURPOSE: A sudden acceleration controller prevents an accidental rapid starting due to the wrong operation of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An intake passage(7) is formed on the center of the bottom of a fuel room(6) formed on a body(5). The upper end portion and the lower end portion of the intake passage(7) are a valve seat(8) and a spring seat, respectively. A passage(6) fluidly connected to a socket(11) is formed on the center portion of the spring seat. An outlet(19) formed on the bottom of the fuel room(6) is fluidly connected with a valve room(17), a passage(16') and a socket(12). One side wall of the intake passage(7) and the valve room(17) is fluidly connected through a needle hole(9). An adjusting valve(10) mounted on the valve room(17) by an adjusting screw(18) adjusts the extent of the opening of the needle hole(9). A spring(4) is inserted into the intake passage(7). A valve(14), a diaphragm(13) and a cap(1), sequentially combined, are jointed to the body(5) by a nut(15). The sockets(2,11,12) are connected to a master cylinder(20) of a brake pedal, a fuel tank(21) and a fuel injection device(22). |
