PURPOSE: A method for controlling the display of a speech area in a cellular phone is provided to display information corresponding to a speech area of an originating party if an incoming signal is generated, and to display information corresponding to a speech area of an incoming party. CONSTITUTION: Location data are set up in a memory of a base station, to transmit location data for a location of the base station near a cellular phone of an originating party. The set location data are read from the memory. The read location data are transmitted to a base station of a cellular phone of an incoming party through a mobile exchange, to be transmitted to the cellular phone of the caller. If an incoming signal is generated in the cellular phone of the incoming party, the location data of the cellular phone of the originating party are displayed in a display unit(48) of the cellular phone of the incoming party. |
