SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING FORGERY OF IDENTIFICATION CARD

PURPOSE: A system for preventing forgery of an identification card is provided to digitalize a picture printed on the identification card and a personal information into one integrated data. CONSTITUTION: A character image is input as a digital data by taking the character image using a camera. A water mark is inserted into the digitalized character image. An identification card is completed when the character image is printed. A position reference point of the identification card is detected according to the discrimination of the digital data by the camera(step(100)). A region of the character image printed on the identification card is detected by using the position reference point(step(101)). The detected character image is aligned depending on the position reference point(step(102)). The water mark is detected from the aligned character image(step(103)). By using the detected water mark, it is decided whether the identification card is a forgery or not(step(104)). The result is displayed as an output data(step(105)).
