PURPOSE: A method for producing mixed feed made from food waste with sintered sodium silicate and activated carbon removing a bad smell and adsorbing toxicity is provided to obtain the nutritive compound feed harmless to livestock. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps: (i) aging food waste with 3-12% of sodium silicate, based on the total weight of the food waste, for 40-120mins and heating 80-100deg.C for 60-140mins before pulverizing the heated materials with a high temperature grinder to a particle size of 300-500mesh; (ii) heating cut rice hull and rice straw at 80-100deg.C for 40-120min, quick drying at 200-350deg.C and pulverizing the dried materials to 300-500mesh; (iii) grinding various fish and shellfish to 300-500mesh and drying at 200-350deg.C; (iv) steaming cut cornstalk and sawdust at 80-100deg.C for 40-120mins and pulverizing the prepared materials to 300-500mesh after drying; (v) mixing the sodium silicate and activated carbon in a ratio of 8:2-9:1 and heating the mixture at 800-1600 for 80-170mins before pulverizing the mixture to 400-700mesh and sealing up; and then (vi) mixing prepared ingredients including 15-16% of the food waste, 53-49% of the rice hull and straw, 10-11% of the fish and shellfish, 18-19% of the cornstalk and sawdust and 4-5% of the sodium silicate and activated carbon and dehydrating the mixture at 200-300deg.C for 40-130mins before seal-packing.
