PURPOSE: A device for cooling a linear motor is provided to improve the cooling efficiency of a coil unit and a permanent magnet by installing a supplying pipe in the middle portion of a stator back iron. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of permanent magnets are installed on the inner side of a back iron of a stator. An operator(55) is installed on one side of a frame(54), and is moved along the inner side of the stator. A plurality of ventilating holes(4) are formed on both surfaces of the back iron(50) of the stator. A supplying pipe(3) which is communicated with a plurality of ventilating holes so that the air is flowed to an air gap through a space between permanent magnets installed on the inner side of the back iron(50) of the stator. The supplying pipe(3) is installed on both surfaces of the back iron of the stator and the lower portion.
