<p>PURPOSE: A fuel electrode manufacturing method is provided to interrupt oxidation of fuel electrode chromium to be solved into nickel particle and enhance strength and creeping resistance by charging carbon powder in a sintering step of a process of manufacturing a nickel-chromium fuel cell to eliminate oxygen or moisture contained in gas. CONSTITUTION: Carbon powder is charged to eliminate impurities such as oxygen or moisture in a sintering step in manufacturing a nickel-chromium fuel electrode(1) in a molten carbonate fuel cell having a fuel electrode(1), an oxygen electrode(2), separator plates(3,4), collector plates(5,6), an electrolyte plate(7) and a matrix(8). Oxidation of fuel electrode chromium is interrupted and most of chromium is solved into nickel particle to form an alloy. Strength and creeping resistance of the fuel electrode is enhanced and life time of the fuel cell is prolonged.</p> |
