PURPOSE: A process for preparing bioceramic charcoal by heat-treating wood chips to carbonize the wood chips, covering the half-carbonized wood chips with bioceramic, carbonizing and cooling is provided which increase calorific value and burning time. CONSTITUTION: This process for preparing the title charcoal comprises the steps of burning wood chips; covering the half-carbonized wood chips with bioceramic and carbonizing by filling the bioceramic between the wood chips; slowly cooling the carbonized charcoal; dipping the obtained charcoal in a bioceramic-containing solution; and drying.
